{"id":5389,"date":"2024-09-12T17:52:56","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T14:52:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ntt-altawakol.com\/career\/costing-accountant-position\/"},"modified":"2024-09-12T17:52:56","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T14:52:56","slug":"costing-accountant-position","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/www.ntt-altawakol.com\/ar\/career\/costing-accountant-position\/","title":{"rendered":"Cost Accountant"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"text-heading-large\">About the job<\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"text-heading-large\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Costing Accountant position Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Update standard costs in the bill of materials.<\/li>\n<li>Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.<\/li>\n<li>Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the materials review board to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Plan, Study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor, analyzing data collected and recording results.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct audits of costs, analyze gaps between standard and actual costs; investigate inaccuracies and prepare variance reports.<\/li>\n<li>Develop estimates of new and proposed product costs.<\/li>\n<li>Develop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntt-altawakol.com\/ar\/\">NTT<\/a> monthly cost reporting including Breakeven points, margins, periodic variances, prices\/profitability factors, etc. to facilitate follow-up and decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Costing &amp; production controlling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"job-details-module__content\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Costing Accountant position Job attributes &amp; soft skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cash management skills<\/li>\n<li>Cash handling, accounting, and Microsoft Excel.
