Costing Accountant position Responsibilities
- Update standard costs in the bill of materials.
- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
- Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles.
- Work with the materials review board to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory.
- Plan, Study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor, analyzing data collected and recording results.
- Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
- Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Conduct audits of costs, analyze gaps between standard and actual costs; investigate inaccuracies and prepare variance reports.
- Develop estimates of new and proposed product costs.
- Develop NTT monthly cost reporting including Breakeven points, margins, periodic variances, prices/profitability factors, etc. to facilitate follow-up and decision-making.
- Costing & production controlling.

Costing Accountant position Requirements:
- B.Sc. degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years experience in costing Accounting
- Excellent user of Excel & MS Office.
